UnitConverter is a developer-focused unit conversion toolkit built around clean runtime APIs, practical workflows, and optional editor integration for Unity3D.

It includes a large conversion library for common, physics, engineering, scientific, electrical, digital, motion, pressure, energy, temperature, fluid, radiation, light, and utility workflows.

97 conversion families, 1,632 supported units, and 40,000+ compatible conversion paths

UnitConverter provides a structured and practical way to handle unit conversions inside your projects.

Clean Runtime Conversion API

UnitConverter includes a structured runtime conversion system.

Each conversion family uses its own unit enum and converter class, helping prevent invalid cross-family conversions such as length-to-power or mass-to-temperature mistakes.

Conversions are organized into clear families and namespaces, making it easy to work with only the unit types you need.

Runtime converters do not require scenes or components, so they can be used directly in gameplay code, tools, simulations, demos, and utility scripts.

Developer-Friendly Usage Styles

UnitConverter supports multiple API styles so you can choose the workflow that best fits your project.

Use static converter APIs for clear family-based conversion calls, extension methods for readable numeric workflows, or direct unit-specific conversion methods when you want explicit method names and namespace-based auto-complete.

All conversion styles follow the same canonical base-unit conversion pattern, keeping behavior consistent across the package.

Optional Inspector Integration

UnitConverter also includes optional editor inspector overrides.

Selected components can display and edit converted values directly inside the familiar Unity Inspector workflow while continues to store the original native values normally.

For example, Transform position values can be displayed in centimeters, feet, inches, or other supported length units while still stores the underlying values in default units.

Included inspector integrations support Transform, Rigidbody, BoxCollider, SphereCollider, CapsuleCollider, CharacterController, Camera, Light, and AudioSource.

Settings Asset Workflow

Inspector overrides and display preferences are controlled through a dedicated UnitConverter settings asset.

The settings workflow gives you control over whether inspector overrides are enabled, which component inspectors are affected, and which display units are preferred for supported editor integrations.

Transform override support is enabled by default, while other built-in inspector overrides are included but disabled by default to reduce conflicts with other editor tools.
